Minutes from the Planning Commission 3/21/06
Here are the minutes from the first part of the hearing in front of the Mayor’s new Planning Commission. Note that there are numerous errors, and even some of those who were opposed are quoted as in favor.
Also not mentioned are the contentious arguments by the commission with several of those presenting in opposition.
It did however quote Ford as saying that the Planning Commission should not concern itself with spot zoning. Thus it is the intention to put the burden on residents to pay legal fees to prevent spot zoning rather than have our city officials worry about it.
