Ask City Council to Vote NO on Walgreens Rezoning

ASK COUNCIL TO VOTE NO!
DON’T LET WALGREENS
REZONE PARK PLACE!

We have another chance to stop the developers from turning our quiet little community into a suburban strip mall.

City Council is scheduled to vote on the rezoning this coming Wednesday, the 13th at 10:00AM.

So if you love Park Place and want to save it, please join your friends and neighbors in defense of our community — by doing all of the following:

1. COME TO THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING!
10 AM, Wednesday, September 13th
City County Building, 414 Grant St., 5th floor, downtown
Just show up and sign in– you’ll have 3 minutes to speak at the beginning of the meeting. Or you can just be a warm body. The meeting will be over before noon – the vote will probably happen early in the meeting. Come even if you can only stay 1/2 hour. And bring your friends.

2. WRITE LETTERS AND/OR EMAILS!
to EACH of the Council Members listed below, at 5th floor, City County Building, 414 Grant St., Pgh Pa 15219
- and write to Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, same address. As well.
(Email them at their firstname.lastname @ city.pittsburgh.pa.us)

3 TELEPHONE!
EACH of the Council members listed below. They will listen to the community if we speak up.
Twanda Carlisle – 412-255-2137
Tonya D. Payne 412-255-2134
Len Bodack 412-255-2140
Dan Deasy 412-255-8963
Jeffrey Koch 412-255-2130

Bill Peduto 412-255-2133
Doug Shields 412-255-8965
Mayor Ravenstahl 412-255-2135

Tell Them to Vote NO on Walgreen’s Request to Re-zone
Do NOT destroy our community for a Walgreens drive-thru

This is our chance to influence this important vote, and we will have to pull out all the stops.
So let’s come together for a real, Pittsburgh-style, goal-line stand!
