This community meeting is primarily to kick-off the various special interest committee groups, and allow individuals to get involved in specific topics of interest and at the various levels that they are able to commit to.

Topics include such things as Schools, Communications and Outreach, Safety, Development, etc.

Community meeting to hear full-details of a proposed agrement between the community organization and the developers for Walgreens. The community will be presented with the details, including revised site plans and proposed investments in the community. Community members may ask questions, with the developers present.

A vote will then be held. The vote before city council will be the following week.

Thursday, October 19th at 7pm, at the Church of the Nazarene (corner of Peebles and Waverly), there will be a community meeting to review the proposed agreement between the community organization and the Walgreens’ developers. The agreement would be a variation of the proposal the community organization was exploring with the developers last month.

New, revised site plans and details will be provided, and community members will have the oportunity to ask questions about the proposed agreement and what it would mean for the community.

A vote will be held to either accept or reject the agreement.
