TOWN HALL MEETING: THE COST OF WAR AT HOME
Wednesday May 30th 7-9pm

This is your opportunity talk to Congressional Representatives about your concerns on the military budget and the impact on Western Pennsylvania .
The evening, moderated by Rick Adams, Co-Convener Western PA Black Political Assembly
Speakers:
- Molly Rush, from the Thomas Merton Center , talking about the Military Budget
- Malik Bankston, Executive Director of Kingsley Association*, talking about the cost to human services
- Valerie Cortazzo, from the Coalition of Veterans Advocates, talking about the impact on Veterans

We will give our congressional representatives a chance to respond, followed by questions and comments from the audience. So far Mike Doyle and an aide from Jason Altmire’s and Senator Casey’s office will be there. We are still awaiting confirmation from Senator Specter if someone will be coming from his office. Tim Murphy will not be sending anyone.
