Environmental Charter School At Frick Park

Here’s another chance to see the new Environmental Charter School at Frick Park. Learn about and visit the school during one of the following open houses. Volunteer members of the Parent/Community Task Force invite you to take a tour, ask questions, and fill out an interest form for your child’s enrollment. Children welcome.

Come and meet Pittsburgh Public Schools Superintendent Mark Roosevelt on Tuesday, Oct. 9!

The Greater Park Place Neighborhood Association and The Regent Square Civic Association invite you to a meeting with Pittsburgh Schools Superintendent Mark Roosevelt on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Waverly Church on the corner of Forbes and South Braddock avenues.

In a recent Post-Gazette story, Superintendent Roosevelt said he plans a review of magnet programs to determine whether they’re as rigorous as they need to be and whether the mix of magnet programs meets the needs of students and parents. Come and find out what are his plans. Join us for this important meeting.
