Here’s another chance to see the new Environmental Charter School at Frick Park. Learn about and visit the school during one of the following open houses. Volunteer members of the Parent/Community Task Force invite you to take a tour, ask questions, and fill out an interest form for your child’s enrollment. Children welcome. Open House Dates: The Greater Park Place Neighborhood Association and The Regent Square Civic Association invite you to a meeting with Pittsburgh Schools Superintendent Mark Roosevelt on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Waverly Church on the corner of Forbes and South Braddock avenues. In a recent Post-Gazette story, Superintendent Roosevelt said he plans a review of magnet programs to determine whether they’re as rigorous as they need to be and whether the mix of magnet programs meets the needs of students and parents.
